After graduating with my bachelor's from the University of North Alabama in 2013, I pursued and obtained a Master's in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from the University of South Alabama in 2015. I later earned a Master's in Collaborative Special Education: 6-12 in 2021 and Instructional Leadership certification in 2023 from the University of West Alabama. Throughout my career in education, I have worked as a behavioral interventionist and special education teacher at Thompson Middle School before transitioning to the Madison County Schools System in 2020. During my time at MCSS, I worked as a collaborative special education teacher at Monrovia Middle School before transitioning to Sparkman High School in 2022. As an educator and leader, I value positive relationships as I aim to encourage students and colleagues to strive for success.
